Did you ever go to Toys R Us as a kid, or even as a teen or an adult? Well, I did. Toys R Us was one of the largest toy stores in the US since it first opened in 1957, but in 2018 it closed, breaking the hearts of many young kids, teens, and adults. Even though Toys R Us closed two years ago, the word is spreading about it coming back.

The 19th Street Basketball Showdown

On December 4, 2019, 19th Street’s FPCS Blow Pierce’s girls and boys basketball teams welcomed 19th Street’s Monument Public Charter School boys and girls basketball teams into our school’s gym for a basketball tournament like no other. With both school’s being located on 19th Street, “The Showdown” was created to heighten the hype around winning this game for both schools.
