Is it time for the Dallas Cowboys to start preparing for next season? 

It’s hard to put into words how I feel about this summer, but I’ll try the best way I can. It was amazing.  I did something that I could have never done if it wasn’t for the TOMODACHI US-Japan Youth Exchange Program, a six week two-way exchange program between the United States and Japan.  I was chosen through an application process, then an interview.  

On November 17, 2015 Friendship Tech Prep High School hosted a college and careers fest. FNN Tech Prep Middle School had the chance to experience it with them....

On May 30, 2015 Ms. Parkers, Ms. Matthews and Mr. Harlan took us one a field trip to Jelly Stone Yogi Bear Camp and Luray Caverns in Luray, VA. 

Our former FNN reporter is all grown up and making big things happen. Xavier has dreams of gracing the stage and having her own dance studio. In the meantime, she has been marching for change....

On May 5, 2015, 6th and 7th graders put their projects in a STEM Fair that took place in the Tech Prep Middle School gym. We think the STEM Fair is an interesting way to learn about the different areas of science, technology, engineering and math. In the gym there were a variety of exhibits to check out....

Have you ever been told that you can’t do things that boys did  just because you were a girl?  So many women and and girls have been told that their dreams could never come true because it's a man’s business or it’s a man’s world. Why should countless young women's dreams be destroyed because of an inflated ego. 

Have you ever wanted to create something edible at home by yourself or with friends and family? We’re  in the seventh grade at Friendship Chamberlain Academy and we are starting a series of do-it-yourself project videos called “MC’s Corner”.  

Summer Learning Academy (SLA) is very helpful here at Friendship Chamberlain. SLA Teachers help students get prepared for whatever grade they are going to and their future knowledge. Our theme this summer was “Super Heroes”.

Who is your Hero? My hero is my family. Heroes are everywhere sometimes we don’t see them because they look like normal people. Heroes help others and do things for people when they do not have to and make a positive impact on the community. 

When your old room gets boring or you move into a new place this is what you should do to you room if you want to live in a happy space.

Kevin Hart, Martin Lawrence, Mike Epps, Dave Chappelle, and Louis CK are my top 5 because all of them are very funny entertainers who are funny in many different ways including acting and stand-up.

On June 28, the Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards were held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California  and were televised on the BET network. This year marked the 15th anniversary of the BET Awards. The award ceremony has been televised since June 2001.  Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross hosted the awards.
