FCA Class of 2010                                       Prince George's Community College Class of 2012                                                       Associate’s Degree in English                   Currently working as an assistant manager for Madam Walker's Braidery Temple Hills, Maryland

NOV. 2, 2015: Former FNN columnist Canaan Walker, immersed himself into the family business. His grandmother Marci “Madam” Walker not only runs a beauty salon but also runs non-profit organization that assist domestic violence victims. Canaan helps his grandmother plan events like the S.E.L.F. (Sister Empowered for Life by Faith) Image Awards where they celebrate survivors from abuse, mental illness and cancer. I have no doubt that Canaan will follow in the family tradition of empowering women in need. For more information about their organization, go to http://www.madamwalkersbraids.com/S-E-L-F--Image-Awards-Foundation.html.
