Hello fellow readers. My name is David Lucas and this is my article on Friendship Collegiate’s Taekwondo club that started the year 2014 and ended 2015. The club ended because we did not have the money for equipment and we didn’t have that many members. 

Meghan Rienks is a new media phenomenon with over 1.5 million YouTube subscribers on her comedy/lifestyle sketch channel. She’s also an actress, beauty icon and a Youtuber. She is 21 years old and was born in San Francisco, California. Meghan created her Youtube channel on June 16, 2010 and uploaded her first video March 15, 2013. 

We are now living in a world where pretty much anything is possible from the latest gadgets like the iPhone to the iWatch.  Companies are now creating things that people in the past thought were impossible. Have you ever played any game on a gaming system or a computer and thought to yourself if would be really cool if I was actually in the game. 

When I began to watch Pitch Perfect 2, I started to think about myself as a high school student waiting to go to college, and as person who has interest in music and producing different music. I considered singing in a college group, like the Bellas.

It has been 18 long years since a new Dragon Ball series was created. Many fans are overjoyed and excited for the new Dragon Ball series. As we all know the last dragon series was Dragon Ball GT. The creator of Dragon Ball, Akira Toriyama has little or nothing to do with the production of the series. 

Dope is a movie about three characters: Malcolm (Shameik Moore), his friends Jib (Tony Revolori) and Diggy (Kiersey Clemons) and their interesting struggles as high schools students living in the worst part of LA in Inglewood known as the “Bottoms”. 

The Stingray is a phone satellite connected to police. This is an easy way for the police to eavesdrop on your phone calls. They don't need a warrant to use this, so be careful. They use Stingray to find your location, and they can do this even when the phone isn’t in use. The cost of one of these devices is $250,000.

School uniforms restrain students from creativity. The policies can be somewhat annoying and they can be costly. Uniforms are not very pleasant for children to wear. Uniforms can be expensive and restrict children from expressing themselves through clothing. 

Hello everyone, my name is JaJuan Davis. I am here to talk to you about the length of football practice at Friendship Collegiate Academy. I am going to give and get an opinion. I will interview a player and see what his thoughts are on this specific subject. Details coming up, let’s get in to it.

Parents are always complaining about children being on their cell phones all the time. We spend around seven and a half hours/day on our mobile devices. The amount of time people spend on their mobile devices has increased over the years because of new technology.

A 24 year-old man by the name of Raymon Carter was arrested in Baltimore, MD. Carter was accused of setting a local CVS on fire. Only a week after the death of Freddie Gray, there had been riots all over the town. This caught the attention of the entire world.

In 2005, Bill Cosby admitted in court to drugging women for sexual intercourse. On July 7, 2015 the final documents were presented, stating that he has drugged women for sex in the past. 

In efforts to change the Redskins’ name, President Obama’s administration talked to Mayor Muriel  Bowser about bringing the Redskins back to Washington, DC.  The Obama administration said that the name is offensive to Native Americans.

My past robotics teacher, Ms. Scaring took my little sister and I to a Friendship baseball game after school one day. 

Here is a young man who walked home from school with a book in his hand and kept to himself. So I was shocked to hear Anthony, now Tony, was a comedian. He has been doing stand-up since he was at Collegiate.  A year ago, Tony started his YouTube channel The Tony Cobain Show. It has caught the attention of the Wayans Brothers, and other mainstream comedians. 

How many teen parents out there wished they had known the consequences of having or taking care of a baby? Well, the Health Sciences program allowed Collegiate students to experience the challenges of taking care of a baby by creating childcare simulation project, called “Baby Think It Over”. 

Being a Posse Scholar is a major achievement. I had the pleasure to talk with three. Two alumni and one high school senior. Benjamin is majoring in International Affairs at Lafayette College. Once he graduates, he’s going into the Marines and travel the world to help those in need.

The San Francisco 49ers are losing key players left and right due to retirement. It started with Pro Bowl veteran linebacker Patrick Willis who retired earlier after eight seasons with the 49ers, shortly after the 49ers told Jim Harbaugh (former 49ers head coach) they didn’t want him anymore.

What would you do if you saw a friend’s face on the milk carton? In Ms. Adams  sixth grade ELA class we read a book about a missing person called The Face  on the Milk Carton. This story is about a missing girl named Janie who discovers a frightening truth. Janie found out during lunch time that she was kidnapped.
