On February 28th, 2015 Friendship Collegiate Academy (FCA) hosted Friendship Public Charter School’s (FCPS) annual STEM fair. The FPCS STEM Fair’s main purpose is to inform kids about science, technology, engineering and math. On April 16, 2015 I and three fellow students from Friendship News Network flew to Denver for the JEA Journalism Convention. The convention was for teens all over the country who wanted journalism to be their career. Throughout my time there, Denver was very cold and often snowing or raining. It differed a lot from DC. DC is more diverse than Denver, and because I'm a person of color, I stood out from everyone.

It was reported that he was already injured while being arrested and when he was taken out of the van he was completely unresponsive with three fractured vertebrae, injuries to his voice box, and a broken spinal cord due to a “rough ride”....

Book Reviews from the Friendship Woodridge Academy Library.

In April 2015, 2nd and 4th grade students did book reviews in the library. The library is more exciting than regular class because in the library you can read any book you want. We like to read fiction, fairy tales, and folktale books. We get to search for books and we get to check books out.
