Beast Games: A Squid Game Parody That's Just As Enjoyable

Review by Zayne Hayes. Photo courtesy of Prime Video.

In Beast Games, two hundred people were chosen to participate in Mr. Beast’s challenges. These people were split from smart and strong, with 100 people on each side. The games take place in Beast City, a 14 million-dollar private set in Toronto, where people compete for weeks, away from their families, attempting to turn their lives around with the 5 million dollar prize pool.

In these challenges, the two hundred contestants face rigorous challenges to be the last one standing. With a mix of intellect and strength games, they work together to compete till the end. However, some people betray others for a chance to earn the money themselves. Something I enjoyed about this show was its similarity to Squid Games, while I didn’t like how some people lost and left with some money to their name.

Overall, I’d rate this show a 7.5/10. If you want to watch Squid Games without all the violence, Beast Games is definitely the show for you. It is available on Amazon Prime Video.
