As NFL athletes continue to protest during the National Anthem, NFL ratings have gone down. The protests started with San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick sitting during “The Star Spangled Banner” at the 49ers first regular season game nine weeks ago (which the 49ers lost).... 

I currently take high school Spanish 1, Algebra 1, and an extra business class called Build because of my district MAP scores. If I get all of my high school credits by the tenth grade, I will be able to start dual enrollment at any college that I plan to attend....

The start of the presidential race left me with the usual options—the conservative, bluntly racist, extreme and overzealous Republican candidates, and the moderate to progressive, pro-everyone, Democrats....

On October 3, 2016, Friendship Tech Prep had a pep rally to launch P.B.I.S (positive behavior intervention strategy). The pep rally was very exciting for all students and staff at school. The band, Academy dancers and cheerleaders all performed to show Titan school spirit....

Well you should look no further, because it’s Friendship Tech Prep’s very own Marching Titans, directed by none other than Dr. Keith Kilgo. The Marching Titans perform at many different places including Georgetown University, Anacostia Park and the Friendship Tech Prep campus....

On September 16th, 2016 students from Friendship Tech Prep interacted with law students from around the country to discuss the problems in our community and how we can step up and make a change. Many speakers including Judge Glenda Hatchett and Valerie Castile, the mother of Philando Castile, came to Friendship Tech Prep.... 

On September 29th, 2016, FNN Tech Prep had an opportunity to go to the U.S Capitol. While we were there, we had to wait in line to go into a theater to watch video about the importance and the history of the Capitol. When the video finished, we met our proper tour guide....

Clear book bags are made of of a plastic see-through material to observe what's inside of the bag. At Friendship Tech Prep Academy, students are required to carry these book bags for safety reasons. This is because of a previous incident that happened at our school....

At Friendship Tech Prep we have a strict uniform policy.  Some people may think this is for school spirit. Others may think this is just to make us look preppy....

On September 3, 2016, Tech Prep’s Marching Titans were invited to perform at the halftime show at Georgetown University. The Titans are Friendship Tech Prep's first marching band directed by Dr. Keith Killgo, the music director at Friendship Tech Prep.
