Day 1: Patti Labelle Civil Rights Celebration
In order to fully experience the aftermath of the civil rights movement, five students from FNN were chosen to travel to Selma, Alabama for the 50th anniversary of the march from Selma to Montgomery. We arrived at Ms. Kadesha’s on Leola N. Robertson Street to have breakfast with Mr. Jimmie Webb and some of his activist friends.

Their parents are sending them to school to learn and be served a breakfast and lunch daily.
