3D Printers Are Making History In Space
NASA sent a 3D printer into space in September. I know what you're thinking. Why is NASA sending a 3D printer into space. Well, according to NASA they are sending a printer into space because they hope one day astronauts will be able to fix space craft by cranking out spare parts on the spot.
Tier One Schools Strive for Success
This Fall Chamberlain celebrated another year as a Tier One School. Tier One schools are schools that have achieved this status because they are showing academic growth, student achievement, parent satisfaction and college readiness. On November 14, 2014, FPCS Chamberlain hosted the Tier One Schools Ceremony.
Domestic Violence in the NFL
On September 8, 2014, TMZ leaked a video of Ray Rice knocking out his wife in an elevator in an Atlantic City casino. He showed a form of behavior known as domestic violence. Domestic Violence means a violent or aggressive behavior within the home, typically involving the violent abuse of a spouse or partner. Today in the NFL there have been multiple outbreaks of domestic violence.
Laying Down The Law
At Blow Pierce Junior Academy, “Laying Down The Law” was the 8th grade theme for the first quarter. Our English and Science teachers created lesson plans that are evolving with our theme “Laying Down The Law”. The eighth-grade English class is participating by reading a novel written by William Golding, who was a literature and philosophy teacher.

On Friday, September 26, 2014, the Blow Pierce Junior Academy had a couple of guests who made something out of their lives. One of our guests, Michael Walton was a young runner when he created a foundation to help others. His foundation is called The Michael Walton Foundation. His purpose for the foundation is “to create opportunities that educate while inspiring children to be great”.
One Sweaty And Relaxing Experience
On Tuesday, November 4th, my class and teachers went on a field trip to Bikram Yoga. We did most of the Bikram Yoga poses. Some were hard for me and some were easy.
