This week the FCA Knights faced the Rock Creek Eagles at St. James Sports Complex.

This week FCA’s Knights played DeMatha’s Stags on our home field. They tried their hardest but couldn’t muster up a play to get past Dematha’s defense. DeMatha’s offense was brutal and Friendship’s defense couldn’t keep up. Final Score 38 - 0.

Friendship fell against Good Counsel in an away game.

FCA Knights smashed the Benedictine Cadets during their first home game ever on Friendship’s brand new Donald L. Hense Field.

On August 28th 2021, FCA Knights faced off against the Gonzaga Eagles at Gonzaga for the first time since the pandemic. This is not a good start to the season for Collegiate’s football team. Knights got shut out, 37-0.

I know Friendship Public Charter Schools announced that school will start August 23rd but in my own opinion students shouldn’t be returning in person.

Since March 2020, students like me have been online learning. Now since people are taking more precautions and a vaccine has been released, students are being allowed to reenter schools for hybrid learning with moderate restrictions.

On April 22, 2021, Friendship Collegiate Academy once again hosted Earth Day, a celebration to promote and encourage kids to take care of themselves and the environment.

On April 22, 2021, Friendship Collegiate Academy finally revealed its very own football field! Touching words were spoken by our founder, Donald Hense, CEO Patricia Brantley, Principal Dr.Peggy Jones, Coaches Micheal Hunter, Coach Brian Bartley, and student-athlete Darren Cook.

On April 23, 2020, Friendship Collegiate launched a Field Day for the class of 2021 at the new Donald H. Hense Football Field.
