The Loss of Federal Funds in Education

The government is trying to take away the majority of the 2026 education funds. Without those funds students and staff will suffer tremendously.

Education should not be in jeopardy because of the misappropriation of funds. According to FBC, “families, students and educators should be active decision makers in any determination of school needs.” Schools and families should have a say in what goes in and out of the schools funding. Nobody knows what is best for kids. More than their families,

Ultimately, the depletion of funds going towards the Department of Education is an immense issue that will cause more problems for students and staff. Those funds are very beneficial to help children in need. With that being said, a resolution to this pertinent upcoming problem would be to join the FBC organization, or other fundraisers and organizations, to help advocate for schools to keep or add to the money we have that our president is trying to take away from schools during the 2026 school year.

Schools are already struggling with many things, such as Lack of materials and teacher burn out. A way to help schools be prepared, or at least give them a chance to fight back, is the fair budget organization. We need to do everything in our power to help eradicate this tragedy.
