After 146 years, the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus is taking down its tent for good. Known as “The Greatest Show On Earth” the circus will hold its final performance this May. Why? That’s a good question.

On Friday, February 17, 2017, the Woodridge staff and students celebrated HBCU Day! What does HBCU stand for? It stands for Historically Black Colleges and Universities. As a part of Black History Month, the day was filled with guest speakers who shared valuable information about attending a historically black college.

First Snow of the New Year Brings Blizzard Temperatures
On Saturday, January 7th, DC saw snow for the first time in the New Year. It wasn’t much, but a dusting to cover the grass. The streets were treated very well with salt. I think there was more salt than actual snow this time. DC really stepped it up this year by planning ahead.
