On Tuesday April 10th 2018, I took part in a major gathering to bring attention to a serious issue that is plaguing many communities. A group of students, including myself, were invited to the Friendship Armstrong campus to participate in an interview session and panel discussion with none-other-than Congressman John Lewis.

Marching Titans Support Georgetown Football Team
On Saturday, November 18th, the Tech Prep Marching Titans Band took a trip to Georgetown University to support the Georgetown Football Team at Cooper Field. We performed in the stands throughout the game to support the football team. We also played for the halftime show on center field to provide some entertainment to all of the Hoyas fans.
FNN Hosts Blow Pierce Book Party
On Wednesday, November 15th, 2017, FNN reporters from Tech Prep and Collegiate joined pre-k-1st-grade students from Blow Pierce to celebrate the arrival of the FNN Online Book Club. Students celebrated the fun of reading with us by having what we like to call a “Book Party”. Scholars participated in fun and exciting activities that had to do with their favorite books and stories.
FNN Joins Friendship Chamberlain to Celebrate the Online Book Club
On Thursday, October 5th, 2017, FNN members from Tech Prep and Collegiate joined with students at Friendship Chamberlain to celebrate the new FNN Online Book Club. Over 250 students in PreK-1st grade got to pick their own book that they can always keep.
North Korea Conducts a Successful Missile Test, What Does This Mean?
On Tuesday, July 4th, 2017, North Korea had a successful test of an intercontinental ballistic missile or ICBM. In short, they picked a fine day to do it— America’s Independence Day. The nuclear-tipped missile flew 37 minutes before coming down 930 km from where it was launched.
A Wonderful Trip to New Haven, CT
From April 17 - April 19, 2017, three reporters from Tech Prep and two reporters from Collegiate had the chance to take a trip to New Haven, CT over spring break. We were able to tour Yale University’s famous Beinecke Library to view the Harlem Renaissance exhibit. We toured the entire Yale campus along with the engineering school. We stayed at the Friendship News Network director Ms. Kaufman’s house in Hamden, CT which is about 20 minutes from New Haven.

On November 30th, Legendary bass player Larry Graham performed at the Stratford Auditorium in honor of Concerts for Causes. Dionel Grice, Jewel Lake and I had the honor of attending this concert. We also received new instruments from Concerts for Causes on stage.
Huge Tanker Explosion Causes 67-Car-Pileup on I-95 due to Major Winter Storm
On, December 17th in Baltimore, Maryland, our first winter storm hit in a big way knocking out power, and causing hundreds of accidents. But, one major catastrophe due to the icy roads was the 67-car-pileup on Interstate 95, which involved a huge tanker explosion.
