Power Book II: Ghost Review

I recently started watching the Starz series, Power Book II: Ghost. The show is about Tariq St. Patrick, the son of James “Ghost” St. Patrick. The plot follows Tariq trying to balance college life with running a drug business while also dealing with the legal fallout from his father’s death.
The story takes place primarily in New York City, specifically around elite universities, courtrooms, and the city’s underground drug world. Tariq is motivated by a desire to protect his family, gain independence, and ensure their financial and legal well-being. Tariq navigates this life by enrolling in college to access his inheritance, secretly dealing drugs with Brayden, aligning himself with the Tejada crime family, outsmarting law enforcement, and legal challenges.
The character I gravitated to the most was Kane Tajeda. I loved how he was loyal and how he moved with a purpose; everything he does is rooted in wanting his family's respect. He steps up to any task, risks it all, and handles things with no hesitation. He is the backbone of the family, but his emotions at times can get the best of him.
If I were to rate this show, I would give it a 5/5. The show is incredible. Power Book II is a show on the Starz network.
