More Than Football: The Real Heart of All American

All American is about Spencer James, an amazing football player who is dealing with obstacles through his teenage years. Spencer lives in Crenshaw and Beverly, California, and despite going through so many obstacles, he puts everyone’s problems on him. He likes to solve everyone’s problems.
What I liked about All American is how comforting the show is. I loved how close the cast was. When I watch scenes, it doesn’t seem like they’re acting, it seems real. That means that the actors are amazing. Their acting skills are on top. When I watch it, I don't get bored even though I've rewatched the show often. The story is also relevant to the real world like when they started protesting for Black Lives Matter during the time we were in the real world.
Something I kind’ve disliked about the show is that the characters weren’t actually teens. Most characters that were acting as teens were in their 30s, which is crazy. I didn’t really notice at first until I looked the characters up, and I saw their ages. Some of them look like teenagers, and some don’t.
I would give the show a 10/10. All American can be found on Netflix for all past seasons, but if you want to watch the new episodes from the current season right away, watch on The CW.
