H & Chicken, The Best Food on H Street

On February 9, 2023 FNN reporters Tatyana Hollowman, Jabari Crews and Ja’Nyiah Jenkins had the opportunity to photograph and taste food from H & Chicken, located at 716 H St NE. Here is their review of the popular, local spot. 

“It smells sweet, tastes soft and warm and it looks like the mac & cheese and fries feel nice and soft.” - Tatyana Holloman.

“I had the chicken and mac & cheese. The food smells fresh, tastes great, and looks good. The food was worth the price because it was still hot when delivered.”  - Jabari Crews

“I had the mac & cheese, chicken and french fries. The chicken was crunchy and just had you smacking your lips for more. The mac & cheese is soft and had the right amount of cheese. It was a little bit burnt on top, but in a good way.” - Ja'Nyiah Jenkins

Overall, the food was worth the price and we think that H & Chicken is a 10/10! Make sure to try it out next time you’re on H St.
