Creed: An Unforgettable Boxing Come Up

Review by Morgan Twitty. Photo courtesy of Amazon.

The movie, Creed, tells the story of Adonis Johnson, the son of a famous boxing champion named Apollo Creed who never knew his father because he died before Adonis was born. Wanting to build his own legacy, Adonis traveled to Philadelphia, where he found Rocky Balboa, his father’s old rival and friend to train him. With Rocky’s mentoring, Adonis works hard to become a top boxer while learning about family, identity, and determination.

One thing I really liked about Creed was how inspiring and heart felt the story. The movie isn't just about boxing, it's about believing in yourself and working hard to reach your goals. I liked how Adonis never gave up even when things got really tough. The relationship between Adonis and Rocky was also one of my favorite parts about the movie because it showed how important it is to have someone who believes in you and pushes you to do your best. What I didn't like about the movie was that some parts of the movie were predictable if you watch a lot of boxing movies. Also some of the training scenes seemed repeated and were long. But overall the movie was a great movie and had a good combination of action, drama, and emotion. It interested me the whole time.

In conclusion, Creed is a powerful and motivating film that shows what it means to fight for your dreams and make your own path. It has great acting, edgesitting boxing scenes, and a story that inspires you to never give up. Even though some parts are predictable, it's still a movie that keeps your attention and makes you care about the characters. I would rate Creed a 10/10 for its message and entertainment. If you like sports, movies or stories you should definitely watch it. You can watch Creed on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV.
