A Not So Normal Crime Show Worth Watching

High Potential is a crime-comedy series about a single mom with a super high IQ. She starts helping the police solve crimes after they realize how smart and creative she is. The show takes place in Los Angeles and first aired in 2024.

I liked High Potential because it’s different from most crime shows. Usually detectives study the evidence and talk to witnesses to help solve a case. Morgan on the other hand uses her brain and own ideas, while still using the evidence provided to solve a case. No one is able to just figure out what happened by looking at pictures and listening to alibis the way Morgan does.

Overall, High Potential is a fun and smart show that’s worth watching. I would rate it 10/10 because it’s funny, creative, and full of personality. If you like shows like Monk or The Mentalist, you’ll probably enjoy this one too. You can watch High Potential on ABC or stream it on Hulu.
