Last year, COVID did not stop the FNN Online Book Club! With generous support from the Capitol Hill Community Foundation and The DC Commission on the Arts, FNN mailed new storybooks to all Friendship’s youngest scholars in grades preK-2. Then with guidance from book club coordinator, Desiree Girelle, scholars and their parents stepped up to produce video book reviews about their favorite books.
