A Deep Dive With One Of The Coolest Fish In The Sea

Hello Readers!

Today was a great day under the sea on the island of Gozo inside the Mediterranean Sea. I was able to see and learn about an alien-like fish named the Cuttlefish. This fish had some interesting features and I learned some cool facts about this fish that I am going to share.

 Some features of the Cuttlefish are that it has a giant brain shaped like a doughnut, eight arms growing out of its head, and three hearts that pump blue blood. This flesh-eating fish can change its color and shape when it wants. The fish can hypnotize its prey and even go invisible. These fish interest scientists because the cuttlefish is a part of the slug family, but its alien-like features sets it aside from its family and they are able to camouflage themselves almost effortlessly.

The Cuttlefish are actually not fish, they are in fact, molices; soft bodied animals with a spine like snails and clams. However, Cuttlefish do not have shells.
