OCT. 3, 2016: At Friendship Tech Prep we have a strict uniform policy. Some people may think this is for school spirit. Others may think this is just to make us look preppy. We are in a college readiness school which requires us to look professional. Our parents chose this school to support our upcoming careers in the future. Proper uniforms are needed for any career you have. Friendship Tech Prep is preparing us for our future. You may have to follow a dress code for the future job/career. They are just making you prepared.
Sixth grade wears a white polo shirt, tan khaki pants, solid black belts, solid black shoes, and solid white or black socks. Seventh grade wears royal blue polo shirt, tan khaki pants, solid black belts, solid black shoes, and solid black or white socks. Eighth grade wears oxford white shirts, khaki pants, solid black belt, solid black shoes, solid black or white socks. Ninth-twelfth grade wears oxford white shirts, khaki pants, navy blue ties, and solid black dress shoes. I think we wear these because it’s to tell us apart. Each grade, except for the high schoolers, have different shirts. High schoolers have ties that tell us apart from all of the middle schoolers. I think our uniforms look professional and great on us because it shows our future matters.
