OCT. 22, 2015: Dancing Towards Success: Our former FNN reporter is all grown up and making big things happen. Xavier has dreams of gracing the stage and having her own dance studio. In the meantime, she has been marching for change. Earlier this year, while Ferguson was buried in chaos, Xavier pirouetted into action. To elevate the Black Lives Matter movement, she organized peaceful protests in Olympia, Washington and raised money for Ferguson’s library. I’m so proud of everything she has accomplished. I hope she continues her acts of charity and involvement in the Black community as well as continue the good fight and be a positive role model this generation so desperately needs.
