As soon as we began our tour, we made sure that we listened to the Caverns Tour Guides because they gave us some great facts about each exhibit.  When we were taking our tour, there was an instrument called an organ that was used for every wedding held at the Caverns.

Here at Blow Pierce Elementary School, Ms. Morgan and Ms. Foster’s Pre-K classroom had a poetry slam. The poetry slam was a fundraiser. They sold bracelets, paintings, and food like shrimp and grits, drinks, and pastries to raise money for an end-of-year field trip. The room was decorated in a fun way.

“Konichiwa” Rikka

A Japanese exchange student by the name of Rikka Murakami came to Friendship Blow Pierce to help our class of 5th grade girls. Rikka came all the way from Nagoya, Japan. She traveled 12 hours on the plane to get to Washington, DC. Rikka is a very intelligent, cooperative and independent sophomore college student from Aichi Shukutoku University.

Sharing, especially sharing makeup with other people, can be harmful.  You should never share lip gloss because it spreads germs, infections and can make you sick.  If you share makeup supplies, throw them in the trash. If you do share make-up and still want to use it, be sure to clean and soak your makeup brushes in mild cleanser, alcohol and hot water just to kill the germs and bacteria.  If your friend doesn’t have the proper cleaning materials then, buy it for her as a gift.

On December 8th, 2016, the fifth grade class at Friendship Blow Pierce went on a camping trip to Alice Ferguson Foundation Hard Bargain Farm Environmental Center. While going there I was excited, but once we arrived, I immediately fell in love with the scenery of the camping grounds. The most adventurous parts of this camping experience was every thing that allowed me to interact with nature.
